    WCW Great American Bash Report - June 11, 2000

    - The show opened up with clips of Goldberg’s arrival back into WCW, and it was announced that if Goldberg comes to the arena tonight, then he would be arrested.

    - WCW Cruiserweight Title Match: Lt. Loco (w/MIA) vs Disco Inferno (w/Filthy Animals)
    This was a fast paced high-flying match. Both MIA and the Filthy Animals interfered throughout the match. Lt. Loco executed a nice body block off the top rope onto Disco on the outside. Midway through the match, “Pops”, Captain Rection’s grandfather made his way out, but was shoved down by Konnan and he was knocked out. While the referee was distracted, Juventud went for the Juvi Elbow, but missed. Disco then executed the Last Dance on Lt. Loco, but Corporal Cajun came in and gave Disco the Whiplash and Lt. Loco got the pinfall. After the match, Major Gunns revived Pops after mouth to mouth.
    - Winner: Lt. Loco by Pinfall, to retain the WCW Cruiserweight Title.

    - Backstage, Eric Bischoff told security to make sure Goldberg didn’t arrive tonight, as he didn’t want him to ruin the big surprise he has for Kevin Nash.

    - Backstage, The Mamalukes argued over who is the Hardcore Champion.

    - #1 Tag Team Title Contendership Match: The Mamalukes vs Kronic
    Back and forth match. Kronic took the early advantage after a Full Nelson slam followed by a Press Slam into a Gut buster. The Mamalukes came back after a DDT. Kronic came back after a wicked looking Brainbuster. While Vito was on the outside worrying about his Hardcore Title, which was thrown out by Kronic, Kronic was able to execute the High Time on Johnny The Bull to get the pinfall.
    - Winners: Kronic by Pinfall.

    - Backstage, DDP said he would beat Mike Awesome tonight.

    - Ambulance Match: Mike Awesome vs DDP
    The only way to win the match is to put you opponent in an ambulance. Kanyon who was in a wheelchair came out with DDP. Awesome took the early advantage after Awesomebombing DDP through a table outside the ring. Awesome then used a chair on DDP several times. Awesome then nailed two frog splashes, and as he went for a third, DDP moved. Kimberly then came out and nailed DDP with a lead pipe, and Miss Hancock came out and ragged Kimberly to the back. DDP then executed a top rope Diamond Cutter. As Awesome was about to be put in an ambulance, Eric Bischoff came out, nailed DDP with a chair, and then Kanyon stood up and gave DDP a Flatliner off the stag through the tables. Awesome then put DDP in the ambulance to receive the win.
    - Winner: Mike Awesome.

    - Bootcamp Match: G. I Bro vs Sean Stasiak
    The only way to lose the match is to not make it to your feet at a ten count. Bro came down from the rafters to make his entrance. Stasiak dominated the majority of the match. Stasiak nailed a nice suplex on Bro from the ring ramp, followed by a top rope clothesline. Bro then came back after a Harlem Sidekick followed by a missile dropkick. Chuck Palumbo then came out and nailed Bro with the Flexor, but Bro came back and double clotheslined Palumbo and Stasiak. Bro then nailed both of Palumbo and Stasiak with the Flexor, and Stasiak did not make the 10 count, to let G.I Bro win the match.
    - Winner: G.I Bro.

    - Backstage, Kanyon said that the reason he turned on DDP was because he never visited him in hospital, only Bischoff did. It was announced that DDP was still in the building.

    - Tables Match: The Wall vs Shane Douglas
    The only way to win the match is to put your opponent through a table, but Douglas challenged The Wall to a best of 5 Table matches. The Wall got the first two points after he firstly Chokeslammed, then Sideslammed Douglas through two tables. The match then made its way to the entranceway, when Douglas and the Wall climbed up a huge ladder, which was placed next to three tables. Douglas puched The Wall several times with brass knuckles, and the Wall flew off the ladder and crashed through three tables, causing Douglas to receive the win. After the match, The Wall Chokeslammed the referee through a table.
    - Winner: Shane Douglas.

    - Backstage, “Hollywood” Hogan was shown arriving.

    - United States Title Asylum Cage Match: Scott Steiner vs Tank Abbot
    Before the match, it was announced that Russo and Bischoff made it a level playing field by adding Rick Steiner to the match to make it a Handicap match. Rick and Tank double-teamed Scott early on. Tank then brought out a chain and was about to hit Scott with it, but Rick told Tank not to, and Tank agreed. Then Tank still got the chain and was about to hit Scott with it, but Rick shoved Scott out of the way, and Rick took the full brunt of the chain shot. Scott then low blowed Tank, and strapped on the Steiner Recliner to receive the win.
    - Winner: Scott Steiner by Submission, to retain the WCW United States Title.

    - Backstage, “Hollywood” Hogan said he would prove that Kidman is nothing but a ‘flea champion’ and beat him tonight.

    - ”Hollywood” Hogan vs Kidman (Horace Hogan as Special Referee)
    If Hogan loses, he must retire, but if Hogan wins, he will receive a Heavyweight Title shot at Bash at the Beach next month. Throughout the match, Horace called the match right down the match. Hogan dominated the early part of the match, until Kidman took the advantage after the use of a chair. After Kidman gave Hogan a DDT on a chair, Hogan ‘Hulked up’, and Hogan hip tossed Kidman through the announcer’s table. Torrie then made her way out, and as she was on the apron, Kidman dropkicked Hogan into Torrie, causing Hogan to fall. Kidman then got the brass knuckles and nailed Horace with them. Then Torrie got back in the ring and low blowed Kidman, and Hogan got the brass knuckles and nailed Kidman with them, and Horace recovered in time to register the pinfall.
    - Winner: “Hollywood” Hogan by Pinfall.

    - Clips are shown of the Ric Flair and David Flair feud.

    - Backstage, both Ric Flair and David Flair said they will win tonight.

    - Before the match, the Flair family are shown at ringside.

    - Ric Flair vs David Flair
    If Ric Flair loses, he must retire from wrestling. Ric dominated the beginning of the match with vicious chops. Russo then nailed Flair with the baseball bat, and he then handcuffed Ric. David applied the Figure Four, but Ric eventually escaped. Reid then came to ringside and low blowed Russo, got the handcuff keys and the referee unlocked Ric from the handcuffs. Ashley Flair then came and handcuffed Russo. Ric then applied the Figure Four to David, and David quickly tapped out. After the match, the Flair family came in the ring and celebrated, but Russo then made a challenge to Ric Flair tomorrow night on Nitro, saying that he would retire Ric himself.
    - Winner: Ric Flair by Submission.

    - Clips are shown of the Sting and Vampiro feud.

    - Human Torch Match: Sting vs Vampiro
    The only was to win the match is to set your opponent on fire. Sting comes out and is shown on top of the Jumbo Screen. Sting challenges Vampiro to come up to where he, but Vampiro disagreed and so the match started in the ring. Early on in the match, Vampiro drenched Sting with gasoline. The two then made their way up on the Jumbo Screen, until Vampiro pushed Sting off and he fell through the stage. However, Sting climbed back up and the two battled back and forth for a few minutes, until Vampiro torched Sting, and he was set on fire. Sting then fell off the top of the Jumbo Screen, about 15 feet up, and through the stage, which extinguished the fire.
    - Winner: Vampiro.

    - Backstage, Eric Bischoff said there would be no surprise tonight as is was too difficult with the threat of Goldberg being around.

    - Michael Buffer pumps up the crowd as we go to the main event.

    - WCW Heavyweight Title Match: Jeff Jarrett vs Kevin Nash
    Before the match, The Cat comes out to introduce the special celebrities for the match. The special bell ringer was Konnan, the special timekeeper was Rey Mysterio Jr, the special belt keeper was Disco Inferno, the special ring announcer was Juventud Guererra, and the special ring enforcer was himself. The match went through the crowd early on. Jarrett took control after the use of a chair. Jarrett then worked over Nash’s knee, including applying the Figure Four. Nash came back after a Sideslam. Konnan then hit Nash with the ring bell, but Nash kicked out. The Filthy Animals came in the ring, but all of them got picked off by Nash. Nash hit Jarrett with the Title belt, and because the referee was knocked out, The Cat came in but he refused to count, so Nash Powerbombed him. The The New Blood rushed the ring including Rick Steiner, and Scott Steiner tried to come out and help, but he was taken out by Scott Steiner. Goldberg then came out in the mobnstor truck, and got rid of the Filthy Animals in the ring. As Nash was about to Spear Jarrett, Goldberg changed direction and Speared Nash! Jarrett then got the pinfall.
    - Winner: Jeff Jarrett by Pinfall, to retain the WCW Heavyweight Title.

    After the match, Eric Bischoff, Vince Russo and Goldberg hugged as the New Blood celebrated in the ring as the show went off the air.
